Orpheus Island
Located on the
Great Barrier Reef with easy access by seaplane from Townsville
and Cairns, Orpheus is the ideal
retreat with unspoilt beaches, superb fringing reef and acres of protected
national park. Here, you can truly lose yourself as there is a limit of 42
guests, no televisions or telephones and children under 15 years are not
catered for.
All guest
accommodation is located on the beachfront surrounded by lush tropical
gardens. Orpheus offers two different types of accommodation – the Orpheus
Retreat rooms, and more spacious Nautilus Suites with separate lounge and
bedroom areas. Orpheus is famous for
it’s premium yet personalised service & gourmet cuisine. Dining at Orpheus
is always an indulgence guaranteed to take your taste buds on a

Heron Island
Heron Island was declared a
national park in 1943. All flora , fauna and marine life are protected. On Heron you walk straight from the beach to the reef edge and the waters are literally teeming with life, including wonderful coral heads where you can hand-feed the fish who live there. It’s also a nesting site for the sea turtle and hundreds of seabirds. On Heron stress is replaced by a sense of adventure and your days are filled with discovery. Accessible from Gladstone by catamaran or helicopter.

Wilson Island

This tiny coral cay, part of the Great Barrier Reef is
surrounded by pristine reef and beach environments including rare turtle and
bird breeding grounds. Seclusion and freedom from modern-day living offering
comfortable designer-inspired tent accommodation for a maximum of just 12
guests.
Guests on Wilson Island are able to enjoy exceptional snorkeling, bird watching,
island and reef walks or simply relaxing within the peaceful natural setting,
enjoying the stunning views.

Please note: Wilson Island is closed during the month of February for
the bird nesting season.
Children 12 years and under are not catered for on Wilson Island.
